In honour of our Mothers...

As busy as our days can be, I try to remind myself to think of all of the things I am grateful for and today was no different. This morning as I quickly showered as my littlest napped, I began to list all of the things I'm grateful for including; my home, my job, how grateful I am to have my health, my family and friends, the time I had with my father and the relationship we had, my husband's love, my girls and I thought...I'm so grateful for my mother. I stopped for a moment and was in awe of just how lucky I am to have her. Thinking of the sacrifices over the years and all of the love she has given and continues to give all of which is that much more glaring now that I am a mother too.

Mothers ...they are unbelievable, aren't they? Especially now, during the pandemic, their 'super powers' have never been more obvious. They are not only stay at home moms or working mamas....they are teachers and cooks and entertainers and entepreneurs, jugglers of all if it and so much more. They keep it all together while sacrificing everything for their children. As cliche as it sounds, Mother's Day should be every day and Mother's should be told regularly just how loved they are and can be shown too with the perfect gift!
